Im still pissed they are putting this in 500mL bottles instead of 4-pack cans. Same with Rauchbier.

Did I miss it or did Stone IRS and Espresso IRS not make it to Houston?

Starting to see kegs (whole foods Montrose and growlers said they had them in the back). No bottles yet that I have heard/seen.

Yes they made it to Houston. The shell station put on Facebook they had both today. I hate to be negative all the time but WTF is taking so long for SS to put out the damn Valkyrie? It's not some BA beer that takes forever to age, and I don't understand the 500ml bottles of it at all. This was a beer they sold 4 packs for $9.99 (48oz) and now I bet it goes on sale for around $4.99 for that 500ml (16.9 oz). Seems like a gyp to me, hope I'm wrong the price.

I wrote a comment last week on SS Facebook and they just responded to me. Looks like I was dead on the $5 price point, but they did leave us with some good news...

Chris Fennelly Looks like another overpriced 500ml that should be in 4 packs like Pro Am was. Shame on you SS.

Southern Star Brewing Company Chris Fennelly, Bottles are more expensive and labor intensive to package in (for us, as we are set up to can beer and have to fill bottles by hand two at a time). However, this should retail for about $5 a bottle. We don't think that's a bad price for a DIPA, but if your still not satisfied, wait a bit because cans are coming.......

If it is a pain in the ass, and more expensive for them... why would they ever bother bottling?
