I bought KBS at a store today... In Houston... I'd say they are a rather large craft beer hub and they got 1 case, being sold as singles, limit 1.

All the bottles were accounted for from what I was told so saying the store I think would just be a waste. Good news, there is KBS in Houston.

 

They were sold out before you posted. The GF tried, but they were done. I don't know how they had sold most of them before they even tweeted. Are people following the BEK trucks now? And for 1 bottle?! lol

Well there ya go, didn't bother posting because I knew that was gonna be the case, no point in a bunch of people flooding the store for nothing. I got a bottle because I had a chance to hook someone up with some take home bishops barrel and the favor was returned. Otherwise I woulda been up the creek.

 

From my experience with getting shut out. Get over it. Try harder the next time, build relationships with YOUR beer guy/lady, and you won't be complaining. Or trade, which is how I've gotten my lowly bottle.

 

the notification didnt even show up in my twitter feed because they tweeted @founders. only mustve been a word of mouth thing, unless people were going to their page the second they tweeted it.

 

I am starting to believe that ATX and HTX got more KBS and Parabola than DFW!!!! I guess good things come to those who wait........or raise hell...lol! I am just glad you guys all got in on the craziness! KBS and Parabola are freaking awesome. Hey, I am starting to think we are just kinda spoiled in TX...lol. Just imagine when we get Bell's, Three Floyd's, and Russian River! What are we gonna do then??? It is great to be in TX these days! I think by this time next year we will have access to the best overall selection of any state. We are kind of like the chosen market for east and west coast breweries, that is forcing even the midwest to come down. There has been times where I can find so freaking much great brews that I start looking in my fridge like DAYYUUMMMM!!! What a selection!

Ya there is a pretty big selection in TX now compared to a couple of years ago. Almost so much that I can never decide what to buy but I guess that's a good problem to have.

 

Eh, I'll get more KBS next year - I'm waiting for BCBS

 

Given the the distro of GI that we have now, Bourbon County stuff will definitely be here this winter. It may be crazy this first year like the KBS/Parabola releases, but hey......it beats not having access at all! I really think we are about to get spoiled over the next 12 months. I know we get annoyed by the "beer politics", but we have been getting things from all areas that most people have to trade for. I am definitely excited about the possibilites that may be coming over the next 12 months or so here in Texas. Just my opinion though

 

My KBS arrived today along with a Parabola, Sucaba and Abyss. Can't wait for the BCBS madness to begin.

 

How did your pants handle this event?
