I found some bottles of 3F Oude Geuze Golden Blend today at a local Binny's for $26.99. Did I make a mistake not picking any up? Price seemed a bit steep, but I suppose I can always head back tomorrow!

they are $29.99 here and I've never pulled the trigger, but your price dosn't seem outrageous for what it is.

If you like gueuze you should buy one bottle, it is sublime.

It is really good, but I would rather get a 750ml of the reg Oude Geuze for less money.

I'll echo this sentiment. I kinda wish I would have bought more than 1 when I had the chance. It's noticeably better than the regular oude gueuze IMO.

It is great beer, but I dont think it is worth $26.99 (that is what it costs here as well)

It's a sublime Geuze, plain and simple, and I've bought a number of bottles: 6 at the brewery for something like 8 euro each, and a couple in the states for $20. I've passed on multiple opportunities to buy it in the $25-30 range, though.

If I were made of money, I'd buy it by the case. As I'm not, I'd rather get a case of Hanssens or Tilquin 375s for the price of about 4 bottles of Golden Blend. 3F is better, but I'm not convinced it's 300% better.

Pretty much anywhere other than NYC. I just picked up two yesterday at decciccos but those were the last ones. It used to be everywhere though.

If you like gueze you should by atleast one. I bought one and shared it with my brother in law. We both loved it! I payed 23.99 so sounds like I was at the bottom end of the price points!

its amazing, very much a prime example of fonteinen with heavy oak and mineral. if it was $12 a bottle, i would own 200. worth it once for sure.

Completely agree. 5 years from now this will be one of those 'I can't believe that beer was just sitting on the shelves' type of scenarios.

It's insanely good, but order it from one of the Belgian beer shops and save a lot of money.

I splurged on it once and thought it was solid but nowhere near the price. If it was 1/3 the price then sure, otherwise take your nearly $30 and get a handful of other just as good brews.
