New Belgian IPA

It's the first beer from them I've tried, and I liked it. I'm not sure if they're new to Ohio, but it's the first time I've noticed any of their beers at my local stores. If I come across anything else from them I'll likely pick it up. I think that's the last of my new beers for today, so Happy NBS (and Memorial Day) to everyone!

 

New Am. Porter Sunday (2nd edition)

Greetings again NBSer's,
I guy has to keep his word and so here it is, a truly new beer on Sunday.
I believe this beer was once a top 100 beer, many moons ago. Now it's in the 20's for category. As with most smoke beers it goes very well with beef, and so it did tonight. Mmmmm.

New blonde ale Sunday

Brewed up a traditional ipa today that will be broken up and treated 2 different ways. First half will be treated with mango and passion fruit and the second half with basil and basil wood. Anyway, i started the day with a weyerbacher riserva, then a tilquin olde gueze. But yesterday I went to the new fort Myers brewing company, and picked up a couple of growlers for brew day. The new beer of the day is gateway gold by FMBC. Review below.

A nice regional Porter, will probably be my last NBS entry. It took them 13 innings, but the M's snapped their losing streak. Fox TV dropped a cable and caused the race to be red-flagged, and now the pub is filling with refuges after the local, minor league kickball team's game. I'm enjoying my first Heady Topper, fresh as hell, as it was canned Monday. I am already in love, and finally able to accept the hype, as this is likely the best DIPA I've had. I'm so glad I have three cans left! Cheers!

 

New Imperial Stout Sunday

Greetings NBS and Thank you to all who serve(d) our country.

Traces of winter are still lingering here in Southern, CT after 5 days of wash out rain, it was windy and in the 50's here while celebrating with the family.

I have been saving this beer for a special time and I figured a new job was perfect to crack open this 2009 Sexual Chocolate. It did not disappoint:

Happy Memorial Day to everyone, but especially to our veterans.
Been a couple weeks since I've been able to take part in NBS. Two weeks ago I was out of town, and last week I just wasn't in a drinking mood. I was out of town again this weekend, helping my parents out with some landscaping. Got back into town about an hour ago and poured myself an "Imperial Black IPA" from Utah that was an "ale brewed with hemp seed":
