The Fox and Hound in Menlo Mall (NJ) has $2 pints on Tuesday nights. For BMC or craft beers. Good craft beers. 4 good pints and some grub for around a 20 spot. Great night out!

I don't go to Happy Hour often, but when I do, I pay full price to support Craft Beer!

I am glad the original poster does not have a problem with Happy Hours, personally.

$1 dollar PBR's/Yueng or bust. Sometimes it's actually fun to get roaring drunk. Better to do it for as cheap as possible I've always felt.

How is paying less money for the same product shameless? Seriously confused here.

If you don't like or want discounts on craft beer come to NYC or the northern 'burbs.

The only thing is the *****s are aren't showing up and would the establishment be able to get them to offer discounts as well.

I refuse to partake in "happy" hour. It doesn't give beer the respect it deserves. If I'm paying anything under $6 per pint then I can hardly consider myself an advocate for beer.

    ...said no one ever!
Hell yes I love happy hour! One of the bars in walking distance to my home that has 16 taps (one BMC and one Guinness, the rest is local and other regional craft offerings) does happy hour all day on Fridays! It ends up being only like $.50 cheaper than normal for beer, but food is cheaper too.

What happened to the days when the brewery reps would be there and buy a round or two for people drinking that beer and more than likely giving away the glass, talking early to mid-ninety's here.

I appreciate and encourage Happy Hour. Especially when I'm travelling out of state where such practices are legal. I once partook in a killer happy hour at the Bear Republic brewery.

It just so happens that the best time for me to hit one of my favorite bars is around 7pm on a Friday. I work night shift Mon-Fri, so Sun-Thurs nights are almost always out of the picture for me.

This bar happens to have a happy hour from 7-9pm.

Am I supposed to feel bad about that? I don't see why I should.

Yes. They discount "domestic" beers only.

I love a good happy hour. Just last night I tried out a new local brewery and from 4-6pm they charged $2 per house beers. Homemade, local, craft, cheap as hell....nothing to really complain about there.

My beer bar has a night for $1 off Michigan pints, another night for $1 off Short's, and a night for $1 Rolling Rock pints. Good beer at cheap prices should be taken advantage of. If establishments frowned upon people drinking their discounted beer, why would they offer special pricing in the first place?

    Also, ISO: happy hour *****s

I was with you until we got to Rolling Rock pints. Then you lost me. I can suck down some Bud Heavy with the best of 'em, but Rolling Rock.... you'd have to pay me.
