From the Facebook page of CCB
We've received a lot of feedback regarding our methodology behind the release of Brandy Barrel-aged Hunahpu's Imperial Stout. We've tried several different ways with different levels of success with each one.

Now one of the last methods we're going to employ is random chance!

We will randomly draw names from a hat for the opportunity to purchase ONE bottle of Brandy Barrel-aged Hunahpu's Imperial Stout at our Spruce Street brewery's tasting room. We have set aside NINE cases (108 bottles) just for this. We will have SIX total drawings over the next week or so, with 18 winners from each drawing.

To get your name into that hat for the first drawing taking place TOMORROW, you must follow these steps:

    - Send an email to [email protected] TODAY between 5:30pm EST and 6:00pm EST. Any emails sent before or after will be disqualified. We use time.gov for our timestamp so you better as well if you want to get it right!
    - In the subject line, include your full name AS IT APPEARS ON YOUR IDENTIFICATION.
    - The body of the email should remain blank.

Tomorrow we will perform the drawing. We will also film the drawing and upload it to YouTube.

If you are selected you will also receive an email notifying you as such.

Some of the six drawings will happen with lots of notice, some will happen with virtually no notice. Better keep an eye on our Facebook for now!

You are only allowed ONE entry per drawing period. If you are lucky enough to win this time around, you will not be eligible to win future drawings. Whatever name you enter in the drawing MUST be the name of the person that is present to purchase the bottle at the brewery. The bottle must then be purchased from the brewery no later than 28 days from the date the drawing takes place. Photo ID is required. 21 and up only.

    Good luck!

I hope over the next 6 months CCB finds even more ways to release the same beer. I find it amusing how not knowing the bottle count is driving traders absolutely crazy.

I would love to get one of these bottles, but don't know if I will be able to get down to Florida. Any one want to let me use their name and if it gets called I would pay for them to ship the bottle up to Philly?

The closest you could possibly be to Tampa is 4 hours, that's how far it is directly north to GA from Tampa. Would we like for you to come down here and enjoy our state and spend some money in our local economy, sure! That's a long way to come for 1 bottle of beer but I'm sure there are some that will do it.

That's generous! Can we pay for the bottle and you just pay for the shipping?

Look, I think this is great. Ccb has done all it can to appease the masses. A non-traditional secret (for the most part) release, a drawing release, and the voucher system that will still take place. I don't know of many other breweries that would go to this much trouble just to make sure as many people as possible get to try this beer. Hoarders gonna hoard. Ccb has done a fantastic job with this release.

If it was 4 or 6 yeah. But for one? I wouldn't drive 30 minutes for 1. If I didn't have at least two mules going with me when it was a two bottle limit, I wasn't going to make the 10 minute drive.

Is it worth it to you? Gas + $25 + time lost > enjoyment of one beer and a visit to CCB? Then do it!

"can you send multiple emails from the same email with different names in the subject? ex, brothers, sisters, parents, friends?"

People are asking on Facebook if they can use email mules

I'm picturing people in the tasting room right now asking old people if they know how to send emails and offering to pay for their drinks.

Gotta steal a copy of their ID and make a rubber mask of their face. This release just went to mission impossible status
