A certain no from me. The seasons and the subsequent weather really have no dictation in the beers I drink. I love Porters, Bocks and Dark Ales as much in July as I do in January. The only time I would not prefer a dark beer would be immediately post-workout/strenuous activity or while golfing.

I'll still be drinking some here and there, just not as many as I would have a few months ago. I did pick up a bottle of Parabola a few weeks ago and I'll be drinking that during the Bruins game tomorrow night. Can't wait!

Good beer all year. Color's got nothing to do with it.

Yes, but I think it's that I don't typically like the chocolate or smoke flavors that a lot of stouts and porters have. But I don't rule 'em out, either.

Those saying they drink them year round obviously have well air conditioned living quarters and never really drink beer outside or by the pool. I think if I saw someone at the beach drinking a KBS I'd just be laughing so hard. Not to mention they would be dehydrated in the sun with that much alcohol.

Find myself seasonaly drinking, the lighter stuff more so on warmer days...

However, those days in the summer when the clouds come rolling in always finds a perfect fit...

Ditto! I do crack the occasional stout here and there, but I don't crave them like do in the winter.

I will drink them inside all year. I however, will not drink a 10% or above stout after a couple ipas out in the hot sun again though. Quick way to get sloshed and dehydrated at the same time.

What? People think about what they drink? I just drink - all of them all the time. I'm an equal opportunity drinker.

Yeah I dont drink as many "dark beers" during the warm summer months but I dont cut them out completely during that timeframe. I just cut down on them.

I do want them somewhat less in warm weather, but still crave my stouts plenty. They pretty much own my "special beer" category in the form of rarer imperials and factor into my regular rotation in the form of SN Stout. Can't just abandon those for the 9 months of summer (FL here).

Dont get me wrong...If a "dark beer" is showing a little leg and looking sexy in my fridge, im going to drink her. But Im a total saison/lighter beer guy during the summer months...its Florida bro
