Firkin Thursday, when Firkin Friday obviously makes more sense.

You go to a store to try to score a special release, the shelf is empty, then you see a guy pushing a cart with three cases of the beer that you were hoping to buy one six pack. As you see this guy, he asks the store employee "Hey bro, you got anymore of this in back?"

    1. Was lucky enough to get to drink some CBS, now I want more. A lot more.
    2. Most local bars with 'large craft tap selection' are mostly IPAs/Pale ales.
    3. Scoring a 'whale' and it doesn't live up to hype.

My pet peeve is when people compare the price per ounce of a bomber to a 6 pack. 6 packs are a multiple purchase. look at the singles for sale and notice the price per bottle is higher than a 6 pack price. If you must compare do a one on one.
Personally I don't do price points. If I want it I buy it.

Hate when a brewery cancels a bottle release and then re-schedules it over a 3-4 week time period.

When people don't pay attention to pricing, and then get offended when people who aren't oil tycoons do.

The use of the term "first world problems."

Why do we have to put some kind of Meta World Peace guilt trip on a discussion? How about "trivial problems"?

I used to be annoyed that Pliny was distributed here (WA) only once a month then they stopped shipping it here altogether.

Right! You can cellar either one and wait for the other, but then you're not comparing two fresh IIPAs, so there's no reason to compare them. One's going to be good, and the other will suck (or you can wait a whole year so that they'll both suck).

Step 1: Cellar Hopslam and compare to fresh Double Trouble. Rate both 1-10.
Step 2: Cellar Double Trouble and compare to fresh Hopslam. Rate both 1-10.
Step 3: Be extremely disappointed when the results are Hopslam cellared = 6, Double Trouble cellared = 6, Hopslam fresh = 9, Double Trouble fresh = 9.....

We moved floors at work and my new desk doesn't have room for the whole bottle collection I had at my old desk.

Luckily, we don't have this problem in Texas. There's usually not enough of *insert limited beer here* to be able to do that. I don't envy you on that experience, though.
