Rip Current Brewing Party

    Thought I'd throw out a last minute plug for Rip Current Brewing's party this weekend.
    We have 3 sessions (Friday night, Saturday day, Saturday night) with 70 tickets available per session. Saturday day is almost sold out (1 ticket left), but the other sessions are still open.

    Tickets are $25 and come with a 13oz logo tulip (to keep), 5 fills of your choice in your new glass, plus a special 22oz bottle to take home (300 bottle production).

    Hope to see some familiar faces there this weekend. I'll be bartending Friday night, and likely around Saturday night as well.

    I did not see any info regarding designated drivers. Is there a special ticket for the DD or no ticket needed for DD?

    We got tickets for Saturday evening, looking forward to it...of all the breweries that have opened up in the last 6-24 months, Rip Current is way out in front. RC and Societe are the new class hoptastic duo.

    I wish I could be there to see you guys but I got roped into doing something for the in-laws Saturday night. Oh well. I'll be there Friday night. Can't wait!

    What beers will be available on-tap? What beer is the take home to-go bottle?

    they sent out a newsletter or something a couple of days ago about the party beers but haven't announced the bottle yet.

    On tap, we will be bringing back a couple old favorites: Chocolate Milkstache (Sweet Stout) and Coffee Milkstache at the party plus a rotation of popular brews from the pilot system and a very small amount of the special beer that you’ll be receiving for take home (our first 22oz bottle!) For example, we will be tapping the final pilot batch (5 gallon) kegs of Salute to the End of the World Oatmeal Stout, Coffee Rescue Buoy RIS, Vanilla Storm Imperial Stout plus some newer beers.

    I'll let the cat out of the bag.
    We bottled Vanilla Rescue Buoy. It's the vanilla bean version of our 11.2% RIS.

    As for DD's, we'll allow them in, they just won't get a wristband, so cannot drink (obviously). There is also a shopping center across the street with plenty of places they could visit. :slight_smile:

    Just want to thank everyone who came out to our party this weekend. I think things ran pretty smooth and hope everyone had a great time. We sure did!
