What does it matter? Frankly, I think it's smart marketing, given the current craft beer culture, and I wouldn't fault any company for smart marketing. It's their product and they can sell it however they feel is best. At least they're not charging ridiculous prices for a 12 ounce bottle, and tried pretty hard to make sure as many people as possible got it on release day. They're not out to work anyone over, that's for sure.

Well, that's always true! Besides, I was bored & felt like stirring.

No, the interwebs was designed so people could look at more attractive people who are naked.

That's because most of them don't brew good beer. :stuck_out_tongue:

I will fully support any brewery that hands out free muffins and cookies at beer releases.

What does any of it matter? I mean, we're spending on time on a website discussing beer. Who the fuck cares about any of it? I just think it's interesting how the method of release relates to trade value which can build interest in a brand, which can be enormously profitable. I don't think breweries' incentives to manipulate us to raise their odds of success are widely understood or appreciated, and I think that's a shame.
