Sorry I was unclear, Delfina the restaurant. Pizzeria Delfina is a great price point and quality. The Mission Street being a smaller location, always has a much longer wait. I would go to the Pacific Heights location.

I've only been to the pizzeria part of Delfina's, but that is quite good. Can't speak to the restaurant. I'd say the pizza is a hair better than Jupiter (unless you dig barbecue chicken pizza, which Jupiter does very well on), but both places are very good. If Chicago-style is your thing, I'd recommend Zachary's pretty strongly. It's slightly less BART-accessible, but worth doing.

I've not tried Emilia's, but I have a feeling I'm going to very soon.

No, nor do we call California Cali. However, if you do go to Beer Revolution for a beer then go right next door to the Olde Depot afterwards.

The chef left in a huff a few years ago to make his way in New York, but then he quit and became the experimental chef at Chipotle. Seriously.

You mean go next door to use the cleaner bathroom, right? I can't imagine going there for the food.

How is Zachary's not BART accessible? It's one block from BART. 2 minute walk, max.

Anyway, Zachary's is great at what they do. Recommended. Build just opened in Berkeley and I'm a big fan of theirs, also recommended if you're in that area.

LoL... yes, it is. I've only ever driven there, and almost always end up at the Solano Ave one (for reasons of it being less crowded on average), which is much less BART-accessible, which has put in my mind that it is not a BART-friendly place. That said, my apologies for the misinformation -- I was absolutely wrong.

Check out Pacific Coast Brewing Co. A couple minute walk from Bart in Downtown Oakland.

No offense to PCB but I'd put this very far down on any list of Bay Area "must do's".

I'm just answering the guy's question about where to go to get a beer.

Una Pizza is awesome. Last time I went they had some german beers in bottles? I think? Either way it was something darker that looked and tasted like a doppelbock.

My favorite restaurant in the city is currently Bar Crudo because they serve delicious seafood and they have a hugeeeeee beer list! It's way bigger than the wine list  Plus the Happy Hour works on Sundays!
