Find Motherfunker from the Bruery, and try to enjoy the most sour, mouth stripping, tear inducing sour ever. Best enjoyed with a funnel.

Biere De Mars , Sobre Humano and La Luciernaga from Jolly Pumpkin are at the top of my list besides something obvious such as Cantillon

I've loved every Russian River sour beer I've had.

I hope you're wrong. People seem content to let Drie Fonteinen sit on shelves.

And people seem to think Oud Beersel and Cuvee Rene are somehow not even worthy of discussion but I'd put them over 99% of American Sours.

While I loved Love Child No 3, my favorite sour this year has been La Folie. And for anyone in Illinois, Well Read Temptress from Pipeworks is super awesome too. I have never gulped down a 750 of sour so quickly

Cuvee Rene is a really great sour, plus it's cheap and easy to find. I think people over look it because Lindemans other fruit beers are a disaster

Allagash made fv13 which is still available and well worth fifteen bucks. American sours might b the next revolution

HELL YES these. In my mind I feel Jacobins is a shelf whale, because I can literally get it at many many stores at any day, and it is one of the best sours I have ever had.

A ton of the other sours in this thread are limited/difficult ones to buy that I can see. I also feel inclined to note that Jolly Pumpkin is the fucking shit, and I will drink anything in their lineup that's aged 1-2 years to bring out the tartness. I think as far as availability, Jacobins in the winner. Rodenbach Grand Cru is only slightly less easily available around here.

Wow...its @18.99 here but I buy the smaller bottle so I can drink just one. Maybe I should buy more and hide them away.

The tap version is amazing too. I paid $10 for 11oz pour.

    Enjoy

Avery's barrel aged lineup is pretty solid. Oud Floris, Muscat d'amour, Odio Equum were all pretty awesome. Trinity out of Colorado springs is doing some great stuff. Their red swingline is an IPA fermented out with brett and lacto, such a great beer. Crooked stave also has some good things going for them as well. Surette reserva is always delish.
