C'mon Shaun, buy a hairbrush. In all seriousness, if he lived on the CA coast and owned a surfboard (or played in a band) he'd be a god. Intelligent, introspective, well-travelled, and he "gets it" with his core audience / customers. Too bad he lives in VT, and has no desire to be big. At least he makes some of the best beer on planet Earth.

Funny that he keeps using the word "soft." The feel of HF beers is one of my favorite aspects of them. They are soft, sort of sippery/sudsy, with body. If it's really all about the well water, that would be a shame, as that quality is soooo nice!

 

He's a very genuine person. Perfect for the scene.

 

Water can largely separate a good beer from a great beer. At least he doesn't bullshit
