    So i was at dark horse yesterday and saw several brewers getting mic`d up, I also saw a guy carrying in a camera and boom mic. Does anyone know the details about this? I heard possibly the history channel but I don't know.

    Brewing isn't a terribly lucrative business. Moonlighting for **** on the other hand...

    Tapping into the craft beer niche.

    No, I'm familiar with that project. Filming for that was completed some time ago. This is something different....... Something cool is going on I know that. The staff and owner, Aaron Morse is perfect for an entertaining show!

    Most likely just a random interview. Or maybe making a video for their own purposes.

    I frequent dark horse a lot since I live 20 minutes away. This appeared to be more than just an interview, it seemed very professional........

    Maybe it's just me, but I'm thinking asking dark horse personnel might be a good starting place ?

    Whatever the reason, I hope they put some focus on the barrel program. I'd love to know how they make their lambeaks.

    Nothing concrete, but I found this;

    ......In the article, Romeo said if he were ever to create a brewery reality television show, it would certainly center on the brewers at Dark Horse Brewing Co., in Marshall.
    But in a recent interview, Romeo hints that a reality television series isn’t just a passing idea.
    “We love telling the beer story,” Romeo said. “We may do an episodic type approach. We’ll start another film project after this.”.........

    Makes sense. Just look at that DFH show on Discovery. What season are they on now?

    Like most cable nets, History contracts with production companies for the majority of its original programming. These companies aren't all that logo heavy, since they hire crews by the day and rent most equipment and vehicles.

    I actually knew this already. Going into their barrel room at 4elf was enlightening: every single barrel had an airlock sticking out of the bung, and each airlock was bone dry.

    Ethyl Acetate actually. It smells like a solvent at high levels. The levels were really, really high in that beer.
