I absolutely love the FW Anniversary series and am wondering if any other breweries also blend their beers in house. I know that this is common practice with wineries, and I've even seen threads that some BA's do it at home. However, what other beers are sold already blended?

I remember a thread where they said that Bell's Black Note is a blend of Expedition and Double Cream ale's then aged in barrels. You would have to confirm that though.

Deschutes blends to make Abyss, and Black Butte Anniversary ales as well.

Stone Lukcy Basartd is a blend of all (?) their bastard beers. Mighty tasty. Hoping to see it again in November.

Dogfish Head blends their 60 minute IPA with their 90 minute IPA to obtain, what a minute, 75 minute IPA!

“First off, in its most basic form 75 Minute IPA is simply a blend of our 60 Minute IPA and our 90 Minute IPA. Some accounts which have both beers on tap have been serving the 75 Minute IPA blend for quite some time now. You can even make your own - just get both beers and blend away! - See more at: http://www.dogfish.com/community/news/press-releases/75-minute-ipa-what-the-heck-is-it.htm#sthash.CuicnBYU.dpuf

Yuengling does it for their Black & Tan. They mix their Porter and their Premium.

And I like 75 min better than either than the 60 or 90 - it is delicious. But as best I can tell, you can only get it at one of the pubs. And that's now a 3,000 mile drive for me after I moved west. Long way to go for lunch.

You can make your own 75 minute IPA. Buy a six-pack of 60 minute IPA and a six-pack of 90 minute IPA and you know have a 12-pack of 75 minute IPA!

    Cheers!

Edit: and add a small bit of maple syrup to your blended beer if you are so inclined:

"Blend two Dogfish Head favorites, add maple syrup and carbonate the mixture naturally. What do you get? 75 Minute IPA. The carbon dioxide trapped during bottle conditioning gives 75 Minute IPA a soft and velvety mouthfeel. Dry-hopped with whole-leaf Cascades, this complex IPA has been known to inspire pilgrimages to our brewpub. Now we're sharing this animated blend of 60 Minute and 90 Minute with the rest of our fans, 750 milliliters at a time. - See more at: http://www.dogfish.com/brews-spirit...rities/75-minute-ipa.htm#sthash.VgbwPtzi.dpuf"

They sell 75 minute w/ maple in bombers. So you can buy 22 oz of it premixed for the same price as 72 oz of 60 minute!!

    Cantillon.

Almost all their beers are made from their Lambic or form a blend of different Lambics and other stuff. I believe Iris is the only exception

Some of the Bruery beers are blended, such as Fruet and the like.
