Blind Pig is stunningly good. Belongs in any discussion of top American IPAs.

Bud Light. I'm nearly +32% rDev on it. It's not terrible beer. It's not even bad beer. It's just very non-offensive lawn mowing, hanging out, and of course ubiquitous party fuel beer.

I know I'll get some flack for this, but Samuel Adams beers in general seem to be under-rated here. Maybe because they are relatively easy to find, but that's a good thing often whenever you find yourself in a craft beer wasteland. They typically are middle-of-the-pack offerings for the style, but still solidly good beers for the most part.

    Specifically:
Samuel Adams Harvest Pumpkin - BA Score: 80, me: 4.5 - one of the best pumpkin beers out there IMHO.
Samuel Adams Winter Lager - BA Score 82, me: 4.25 - a really nicely balanced spiced beer IMHO.
Samuel Adams Irish Red - BA Score: 80, me: 4 - while it's not the most exciting style, this is one of the better ones out there IMHO.

Good lagers generally get fairly low ratings on here.

Barrel aged wake up dead. It's a 77, which may be the lowest rating of any beer I've tried. Judging from the ratings I've seen, and the pDev, people either loved it or hated it. I stored a bottle for 6-8 months and found it to be a solid 4-4.25.

My choice as well. Call me a homer, fine, but I put fresh Sea Hag solidly in the top tier of single IPAs. Right up there with Flower Power.

I don't think I had Sea Hag more than a couple of times before the recipe change, though, so I can't speak to exactly how it's changed.

Lagunitas Daytime Fractional IPA. That beer is insanely good. And extremely drinkable

From my experience, that's because it's amazing on tap, and so so from the bottle, even when fresh.

You just inspired me to add Just Outstanding IPA from Kern River. Overshadowed by Citra.

Both versions of Drakes "Hopocalypse", yes they are 92/93 respectively but they should easily should be 100's. Two of the best West Coast style DIPA's/TIPA's around.

If only Drakes would bottle Hop Salad.

OP - Shipyard Imperial Porter. Not the most under-rated beer I've had, but the first one that came to mind. Very pleasantly surprised with it as I didn't have any real expectations for it.

Barrel Aged Boris by Hoppin Frog. I feel it's far better than the majority of the highly sought after barrel aged stouts on this website.

a somewhat obscure beer, but i think that birrificio del ducato's my blueberry nightmare is underrated. i thought than an imperial stout brewed with chilis and aged in scotch barrels for 2 years on blueberries was going to taste plain WEIRD but it turned out to be an incredibly well balanced and tasty dark sour. worth more than an 84!

And I was only theorizing that there had been a change, since BA ratings generally don't get it this wrong. Do you know when the change occurred? I agree, for a single, this is world-class, probably better than Flower Power IMO. I'd love to try the citra version sometime...

I thought DFH's Tweason'ale was pretty good, but I guess I'm in the minority. Come to think about it, it was after I had a few samplings of 120 at the ACBF last year. That could explain it.
