    Flavors, new and old
Chills me out and makes me smile...guess that's like a buzz precursor...don't like going beyond a buzz too often
Sharing with others when I can...love tasting a great beer with others who love great beer

The opportunity to learn something new (whether it be a different beer or overall knowledge of beer itself).

Its ability to foster community and its contribution to civilization.

The various tastes that result from a living product.

    1) Flavor (I'm going to play the smell/taste physiology card and include aroma in that)
    2) Craft beer culture
    3) History and the immeasurable contributions to human civilizations. And getting to participate in that ongoing tradition.

Honorable mention: A pleasant mild buzz.

I love how a beer can retun a memory. Every time a drink an Avery Karma it takes me back to my first one during a two week adventure in Colorado where we drove from Ohio with the dog in a rental. Reminds me of my first Parabola, my first Pliny on tap, my first 120 find in a bottle shop...

I love the experience of trying something new. Something another person or group of people put so much time and effort into.

I love bringing people together with beers. Whether it is sending a White Rajah outside its distribution for someone to experience or standing in line with fellow beer lovers sharing what I was able to find while drinking that which I couldn't while we all wait for the final prize of a hard to get beer only to experience it for the first time amongst friends.

At the end of the day it's just a great part of life and adds to the experience waking every day brings! Namaste all!

1: Variety of styles and variety of flavors within styles
    2: Social lubricant
    3: "Gift-ability"

Three things I don't like, however:

    1: Price
2: Limited availability of many beers
    3: Effects of teeth

    1) Flavor
    2) Buzz
    3) Enjoying other activities while drinking (tailgating, grilling, yelling at a TV during the playoffs, hanging with friends, reading a book, enjoying the outdoors, etc.)

I like the way you put that; "anticipation of the brew." For me, that's the "I can't wait to get home to drink this much anticipated beverage" feeling. Sometimes it's something special (like a Parabola I have earmarked for Friday) but oftentimes it's just any old new beer that I picked up at the liquor store
