Oddly the places I usually buy FFF for $11 a bomber is in the South Bend area. Binny's is about $12 a bomber.

Every winery I have been to, granted only a couple of them, prices are alway higher than at the store. Example, a bottle of Port at the winery was $20 and at Spec's the same bottle is $15. It's just the way it is. I can't explain it but that's just how it happens. As people have stated in previous threads. If you don't like it, don't support it.

I have always thought that Stanley's was a buck or two cheaper than most stores, so I trust the trend would continue with the beers sold at the brewery.

It would be nice to get a better deal.

Oh I forgot they put the bottle prices on there. They look like they are actually a buck or two the other way.

If it isn't from Portugal, it isn't Port!

The law we've hoped for that would net our favorite breweries more money has passed and you guys are just now realizing that we would be the ones paying for it?

These guys have likely been losing a little bit of their shirt every Saturday for the last 2 years in order to appease us and build a base and a brand.

I know the difference between buying bottle for on premise and to-go are huge but it will come. If you were hoping for bargain basement prices at the brewery, then fuck you, because your expectations were unreasonable.

You now have the opportunity to drink ALL YOU WANT TO PAY FOR of the experimental sour and whatever you haven't been able to trade yet.

I'm for higher JK prices. I've cut back an insane amount on trading/buying beers from out of state because I finally have a brewery here I'm happy with. I'm excited for these guys to make more money so they can experiment more with it...or just keep the beer I already love coming.

Suck it up bitches. Put your money where it is deserved...where the beer gospel is being preached. These are people who want to make the beer they want to make. It costs a lot of money. The end result it tasty...buy it.

Again, most people are saying it just seems more expensive than at bars in Austin. Apparently, we are not allowed to say that.

Yes just one more reason to be pissed we don't live in Austin...including missing Blake Schwarzenbach live at Red 7 last night.

What about JK would make their beer more expensive at their brewery than a bar?

Where exactly are you seeing these prices? Going by the 6/29 menu, all of those are lower than any bar I've seen in Dallas, at least when we did see JK taps on a regular basis.
