Not a fan of Hopaliscious, but Bedlam is deliscious.

Not sure if it's still in Hudson, but Ale Asylum is brewing it for several months now as opposed to the one time as in past years. Awesome brew!

Lots of Bedlam as of Friday. Bartenders were also flashing some big beers for an after hours tasting, too, to which i tried and failed to gain admittance. Surly 4, New Glarus R&D sour brown, etc.

Was the GF Hop Head Red dated from December still in the cooler by chance? I'd love to try that with 9 months or so on it, but don't know how long I can hold off before I pull the trigger...

    Dread ought.
    Fresh naught...

I had to look up what style this beer WAS after cracking a bottle purchased Sunday. Maybe I forgot the additional dried hop packet that I was supposed to add upon drinking? I did get the benefit of the ABV however,so I can't bitch about it being a complete loss.

The two growlers of TG more than made up for it.

Just got back from the Casanova's and NG Anniversary Ale is in stock. Had 6 cases I believe, 2 bottle limit. Also got my first growler of Pseudo Sue. Can't wait to try this one!

This has less to do particularly with Casanova's as much as it is an issue with businesses like their's who refuse to update their real site, but only update sites like Facebook or Twitter. I hate having such intrusive apps on my phone, so I refuse to download them. Anybody have a work around or can anybody prod the businesses to keep their own sites updated?

You can view Twitter on-line, and from their website without d/l twitter to your phone or computer. Just go to the web version of their site and click on the feedwitter link to the right. They do a really good job of updating on Twitter as does Ale jail, Blue Max, Heritage, Zipps and Firkins. I'm sure others do too.

Otherwise I think as beer advocates we can embrace how quickly bottle shops can post to social media. Doing so to websites isn't as realistic, I think, given the technical components.

Also the future of all info is heading this way, something to consider..and embrace.

I am not sure what OS, phone or browser that you are using, but through Chrome on the most up to date Android system on a Samsung galaxy S3 (all pretty much the most widely used of their class), I look up Casanova's site and go direct to a mobile version of their site (no option for tweets, facebook or whatever). On the mobile version of the site, there is a "just in" button that takes you to a mention of an actual upcoming event on the 19th, but as far as "just in" references, it hasn't been updated since November. Maybe you see something different if you have downloaded facebook and/or twitter apps, but without them, that is all that you can get to.

If you scroll to the very bottom of their mobile site there is a link to the full site. I just book mark the full site.
