I poured it pretty smooth until the end cause I wanted the whole thing to fit into this little tulip. It didn't really get any head though.

The owner of one of my locals got to go to Sierra Nevada Beer Camp a while back, and the results were put on tap today. So, I'm happily having a Beer Camp #99 - India Farmhouse Ale. A nice Saison with Nelson Sauvin hops. And, since today is the anniversary of Jimi Hendrix playing the Monterrey Pop fest:

A real nice session ale from Drake's Brewing in CA called Alpha Session.
Totally impressed with the flavors and feel of this beer.

Supposed to be Society & Solitude #3, but the tag also says "(Pacific N/W style Imp. IPA)"
I think this was the growler that started to be filled with Legitimacy Citrus IPA but then switched to Society & Solitude #3, resulting in a blend of unknown proportions.

Notes:
Aroma seems to be greater than the sum of the parts, a more potent burst of tropical and citrus fruits (mango, peach, passionfruit, grapefruit, etc.).
Appearance is translucent orange tinged with gold, thin white head.
Tingly, well carbonated and crisp.
Clean, mild bitter orange peel finish.

 

Jammin' with Mick & the Stones tonight in Philly, doin' a little tail gaitin' prior to the concert. Us old guys aren't use to these high tech printed paper tickets. First tail gaiter is a "Rolling Stone".



Not the sexiest of vehicles, but we're hangin' in mom's taxi and it has a DVD player...yeah...it's not just for Disney movies, ba-BAY! (a.k.a. - my wife's wheels...it's all about who you know ) Gettin' things started:

 

Just finished Heady Topper. One of most delicious DIPAs I've ever had! However, I think this one can give Heady Topper a run for its money. Very refreshing...

 

Alesmith IPA to start the evening.

 

This beer really hit the spot today, right to my hop lovin core. I tasted it and thought, it is so good when it hits your lips! Cheers!

Where to go from there? This isn't bad for those that like hops.
