Does anyone have a temperature regulator? I recently put a $10 gauge in my beer fridge to figure out how to configure my fridge to get beers just right. Found that 37-41 degrees is my sweet spot. Usually filled with a mixure of singles, bombers, and cans. Anyone have done this or has any thoughts?
37-41 degrees is too cold for cellaring. Pop one of these bad boys in and up that. http://www.amazon.com/Refrigerator-Freezer-Thermostat-Temperature-Controller/dp/B000EXROSE
To be fair, he never said he wanted to cellar. If he's drinking IPAs and lagers then that's a perfectly reasonable temperature range.
Seems I've jumped to conclusions. People usually don't get anal enough to buy temp gauges unless they are talking about their secondary cellaring fridge.
Yeah, I'm not sure why he'd care about the temperature if my use case is correct, but since even a cursory reading of BA's cellaring information will tell you that 55 is the sweet spot, it's really hard to say either way. Until OP gives us more information we can't really advise him.
“ …beers that are best warmer warm up pretty fast once I take them out.” Ah, the advantages of living in the Land of Enchantment! Cheers!
