    Ok, sacrilege, I know, but, just did a side by side:
    the latest Cantillon Classic Gueuze vs. the latest Gueuze Tilquin A L'ancienne
    Hands down winner: Tilquin!
    Mouthfeel was the ice breaker, so frickin' good.
    Now, onto Rose de Gambrinus, which, I'm sure, will come out on top.
    I hope!

    Just a pretty reasonable IPA. Some citrus and pine. For like $7, I'd pick it up again.
    Finish had something that seemed a little off, but didn't distract. That's about as much as you get out of me on details. My judgement skills are "amazing", "like it, drink it again", and "I'm glad I tried that, but that's the only time I'll drink that".

    Thanks to all for the positive vibrations, and for the kind words from HeyJim and smakawhat.

    Tomorrow I will be attending an epic party, so I shall have another tonight in anticipation. I'll just make up for it next week, without a doubt. In the meantime-

    I can't believe I only paid $7 for this- it's all vanilla and toasted coconut. Blows their regular Quad out of the water. This is the perfect accompaniment to a re-watch of some Game of Thrones; maybe I should shelve some more for next year...
