I'm curious what trades have been completed for Fantasia. I don't have a very good grasp of its trade "value". Also, I'm curious about the number of bottles released and if there's any way to distinguish each batch from looking at the bottle. Thanks in advance for any clarification!
I've traded a few of them. Sent one for a BA 17, sent another for a TG Assassin, packaged a third along with several other beers for a Brandy Vanilla DL. Also sent a couple out to trading partners.
Here's a thread about trying to distinguish between the 2 batches...spoiler alert: it's pretty damn hard to do. http://beeradvocate.com/community/t...ference-between-b1-and-b2.85781/#post-1340262
You will regret this decision if you haven't tried Fayston Maple already. IMO its horrible, the only thing Lawson does well is his IPAs, and the maple triple. Everything else is meh.
I haven't tried it yet. But it was a want of a trading partner of mine, so I let him have it for whatever he was willing to give up. I guess I will have to decide for myself when I decide to open it.
He's traded me great beer and not expected the "value" back in return. I was happy with the deal, and so was he.
I'm sure some people might find it mildly tolerable, just not me. I completely disagree in regards to Fantasia, I love the stuff, and have traded for a ton of it.
