    I'm thrilled to hear this. I kept a bottle of February 2012 Farmhouse Black Metal, just in case. May move it into the fridge soon.

    That was purely a yeast harvesting experiment. We're actually about to incorporate some of the yeast from these flowers we picked at Jester King into our fermentations.

    Could you tell what type of characteristics the yeast were providing at this point? Are they being used for current production beers or are they going to be used for an upcoming beer?

    Jeff,

    This is a strange request, but do you guys still have strains of the OG Black Metal yeast available? For some reason I seem to recall that you guys were giving out this yeast so that people could create clones. I would love to use it for my oatmeal stout I am planning on brewing soon!

    We could. They're being used for an upcoming production beer. Sorry to be a little vague at this point, but things are still very experimental.

    Anyone going to Jester King this Saturday? I'm interested to try the new setup out. I want a bottle of Ol Oi to drink by myself as well. Not gonna share with my girlfriend lol.

    On a completely different side not Jeff, have you guys ever considered making a pumpkin beer? I would love to see you guys' interpretation of this style!

    Sorry completely different side not as pumpkin beer season is quickly approaching!
