Deschutes has a real winner on their hands with this bad boy. Citra and Mosaic dry hopped heaven. I am so glad Deschutes is giving us the goods.

Can't wait to try the bottle. Had it on cask @ brewpub in Portland back when it was a one-off and it was unreal

Did anyone else pick up a certain quality in Fresh Squeezed that I have trouble describing, other than to say it's common to a lot of Sierra Nevada beers? It's like a super-clean, almost metallic yeast (or decided lack of yeast) profile? I've detected it in Celebration, Torpedo etc. Really liked this beer BTW.

This is probably the one new beer I wanna try more than any other right now. To bad Deschutes isn't coming to Iowa for another month and this will probably be out of production/Distribution by then.

Not Abrasive season, it's a ltd release Dec or so. Any Abrasive right now trading is old stuff.

I agree, Abrasive is most awesome, better than HT? I think so.

Anyone trading Abrasive right now should be tarred and feathered by the BA collective. Amazing fresh (especially the aroma) but man does that beer start to fall off a cliff after a few weeks.

Like most very citrus forward IPA's. This needs to be a summer brew not a Dec brew, it's hot, I want to take it to the beach but I can't. This is one seriously great Dipa.

    A few weeks???
Abrasive holds up extremely well for at least 2-3 months.
You must've had one that was improperly stored.
Or you maybe you drank it while walking on your hands.:sunglasses: JK
    Your opinion I guess.

Back on topic - I just finished my first Fresh Squeezed and think it's a very solid IPA, but nothing earth shattering.
    I'm glad I trusted my gut & bought 4.
I'll probably drink 2 more & throw the other in for an extra.

It didn't have time to be stored improperly. I bought a 4-pack (IIRC) from france44 and it arrived within 2 weeks of canning. And it took that long to arrive only because UPS completely screwed up delivery, delaying it by several days. Still, from the first can to the last there was a noticeable decline. My opinion I guess.
