    Founders is bottling their black IPA in honor of the Grand Rapids art festival, ArtPrize. Michigan distribution only. 7.5%, $9.99/6 pack, available in late August.

    I'm curious if this is the Black IPA they have had as a draft only beer before. I had some around last years Art-Prize event. If it is, it's really damn good.

    I'm also hoping it'll be the same Black IPA that they've had on draft at Founders. That stuff was delicious!

    This is what Founder's said in a FB reply comment, "The recipe has been tweaked a bit from year to year. The Black IPA that's currently on tap is very close to the recipe that we'll go with for these bottles."

    I had the Black IPA last week on my trip to Michigan, and I seriously hope they consider making it part of their regular lineup. It was hoppy and roasty goodness at its finest, and I'd go as far as to say it was the best Black IPA I've had.

    I'll be there for ArtPrize, can't wait!

    It probably won't be available then as ArtPrize is a month after Labor Day.
