Is there a better value than Rampant DIPA?

    Living in Tennessee, everything is super jacked up in price. The best value DIPA's are easily Rampant for $3.69, and i'm admittedly not the biggest New Belgium fan at all, and Hop Stoopid for $4.99, which seems like a universal price for anything Lagunitas. Yea i'd rather have a Ruination or Stone IPA, but at $6.99 -7.99 a bomber, it's my special treat. It's also really nice to find Lagunitas IPA at almost every gas station in a bomber for $2.69.

    But i still end up driving 1.5 hours to either Kentucky or Georgia to pickup Two-Hearted, just wish I could get it for MI prices ($30 cases from Costco!!)

    Just saw Rampant on sale this afternoon in Healdsburg (Big John's) for $6.99 a sixer. This thread immediately came to mind. Apparently it hasn't been a big seller there.

    Honestly, I'd sooner buy a six pack of Two Hearted Ale for 9.99 than Rampant for 7.99

    After tasting a single of it, I can see why people would hate it; but I thought it was really good. Other than that, I'd pull Ranger off the shelf instead. Great IPA at a great price IMO.

    I can't get over the god awful aftertaste this beer has every time I burped. It was like an ammonia/plastic flavor.

    I get what the OP is saying and yes it IS a great value of a beer. I also enjoy the beer alot I think its an underrated brew. Are there better DIPA's out ther? sure there is:wink: but anyways wow is right I enjoy Rampant for what it is:wink:

    Southern Tier 2xIPA is a good DIPA deal for 9 bucks. I like it better than Rampant

    What about RuinTen for $6.49 a bomber? They might as well be giving it away at that price. They could charge $9.99 for it and I'd still pay that.
