The 4th of July is this Thursday and is always an awesome holiday and a great day to celebrate American Heritage and enjoy some craft brews. Whats on your beer menu? Quantity or Quality? This day is usually a marathon and I'm working on a gameplan, whats yours?

whatever I feel like drinking while popping mortars off. As right now it is not yet decided. In recent years I've had plenty of allagash whites, and victory golden monkeys on the 4th.

I will be sailing the SF bay watching fireworks all night long, have a ton of pliny and blinde pig, will also dip into a bunch of barrel aged Firestone goods as well. (when i say sailing, i mean sailing, when we motor out and in is when the beer drinking will go down)

Cans of Big Eye IPA all day with shots of Jose Cuervo sprinkled in between as my friends and I cruise around Huntington Beach

My first job was at a fireworks store when I was 15. I remember my dad driving me to work for 2 weeks before the 4th of July. My family had a pontoon boat and we always bought a boatload of fireworks. Shooting off our own fireworks and watching the main show out on the water is one of my favorite memories.

Currently, I walk across the street and set up some chairs and a cooler and watch my city's fireworks with a bunch of neighbors. I love being about a half dozen blocks from where they shoot them off. The 4th of July is definitely one of my favorite holidays. I'll probably have a couple Hoppin Frog bottles.

I'll be working in the morning and then I'll probably pack some heady topper and head up a peak in the White Mountains NH to watch the firework displays.

I love all beer, but if you show up at my house with a corona on the 4th, its like ordering Mcdonalds instead having the BBQ

I'm sure I'm in the minority but I don't get the need to drink because its Independence Day. I'll be drinking sours, because it'll be a Thursday.

No Belgians, Germans, English, Irish, Italian, Japanese, or whatever. American styles for an American day. Don't worry, I'm not interested in coming to your house to drink any of those other countries' styles on an American holiday. Thanx for the invitation but I'll pass.

And I won't be drinking Corona either.

I've got some American IPA's lined up !

Got the BBQ goin' already up here in da North!

Take me sailing in the bay ! :grinning:

I bought a whole case of Enjoy by 7-4 for the day. Also some leftover Heady cans and a sixer of Firestone Pivo Pils I just picked up with my Dad. Can't wait for the fourth. My favorite holiday besides Christmas. Merica !
