2013 Sierra Nevada Narwhal availability?

I had no issues finding it when it was available here in CT -

 

I need to say this is for a case if Brooklyn Chocolate Stout. I have had some nail thinking it was Bourbon County Stout.

I'm back and forth between Wilmington and Kinston. I guess it just flew off the shelves around here, haha.

Regular Narwhal did take a bit of time to get released in NY but after it got the greenlight it was all over the place for months

 

There's a few 4pks at my packie on East 8th and H Street in Southie right now.

 

It was pretty easy to get here last year and in fact I know of a place or 2 that still has some from last year. Looking forward to some fresh ones this year.

 

found an old 4 pack at a fine wine liquor store in socal 8.99 for 4. trying to save two bottles until next release but it's very hard not to crack them open

 

Narwhal will be available starting in late September this year and should be on-shelves until the end of the year. Slightly larger release than the debut season.
Same price-point and package as last year.

I'm not going to comment on the details with this, but as it's been stated...the more beers enter the marketplace, the more commonplace these types of issues will become. In most cases both sides have valid reasoning. It's sad because in all cases, someone's hard work and thought has to be put aside. Intellectual property, names, trademark and design are all important aspects in brand building.
In the case stated above, this issue did have an effect on distribution in New York last year, but since the resolve it will have no further impact on Narwhal going forward.

Picked up a 4 pack of 2013 Narwhal here in North Dakota. Only cost $6.97, which means I'm going to buy a full case tomorrow

I have 5 bottles of 2012 left so I'm going to do a comparison soon.

Fun fact: I love the Narwhal caps this year

 

Just got 2 bottles of 2013 today. $3.99 a bottle. The store I bought it from didn't have 4 packs. Just singles. This was in Iowa City, IA.

 

Out now in the Bay Area. Amazing, really enjoy it.

When anyone sees this down south in Louisiana let me know. I only bought one 4-pack of the 2012 left around recently and immediately regretted it...

 

Weird. I picked up a 4 pack in Cedar Rapids for $9.99. $3.99 a bottle seems steep. It was hard to find last year. Still some hanging around this year in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area. I really enjoy this beer, everything from the beer itself to the packaging(label, color scheme, etc.)
