Make it 1230, I can't hold a table much earlier than that. Though I will try for 1215.

I have some Permanent Funeral, but it's a little old. Still tasty when it warms.

Also have some old Jai Alai. People need to turn the can over before they buy it to send in a trade. lol

That is the way to do it. The people that show up late won't get any. Our Gingerman shares technically start at 1:30, though if you are not there when they open you will miss out.

If I am in town on Sunday I think I will try to make this. Unsure of what I will bring but I did have a friend just bring down some Wine Barrel and Pirate Noir one of those may make an appearance. If it looks like Ill make it Ill post some options of what I can bring and let yall decide.

Early actually works better for me. I'll be there and will bring something to keep variety in the mix depending on what the list looks like.

It's mostly stouts. Bring something lighter. We should probably start with the lighter stuff, and then work to the stouts and then the heavier beers I'm bringing.

I am ridiculously excited for this share. Sounds like there's going to be a huge turn out.

My opinion would be to start less hoppy and then the hop bombs and sours. Honestly there is no right way to do a tasting (and obviously no wrong way either).

At these larger tastings, I tend to prefer chaos! Keep the taste buds on their toes.

This being almost a style tasting with so many Stouts, I think having some order might be good. Maybe organize the stouts into flights of 3-5 and have a "palate cleansing" beer between each flight...?

    I like this.

And I will suggest that we try to finish off each bottle before opening a new one. Opening bottles too fast leaves people out and gets shitty trying to keep up (but can still be fun like sour/funk tasting at downtown saucer)

I have to admit one of my favorite times is towards the end of the tasting looking over the bottles and realizing we didn't finish off that bottle of Abyss and going back for seconds on it.

I am all for organized chaos when it comes to tastings.

One thing I want to comment on is the parking situation at Nobis. If you have never been be warned that the parking situation sucks. There is assigned parking for each business and Nobis doesnt have many spots near their entrance. If you park in another businesses spot you will be towed.

If he doesn't bring it (Pirate) I can and I will save the 2011 Parabola I was going to bring for the next share. I just need to know before Sunday which 1 to bring.

What if I wanted to bring a 2011 Abyss. lol

I have plenty of other things and that wasn't on my list anyways.

I say you both bring the 11 Abyss and we can do a side by side and then make fun of the person who stored it wrong.

Honestly I love stouts and this is turning into Stoutfest 2013.
