    this. and at that, do we even need to go any further than "they are both DIPAs"? evidently beers must be mirror images of one another in order to be compared... :rolling_eyes:

    DIPA is such a vague, all-encompassing category at this point that it tell you little. You might as well compare Ruination to a barleywine.

    How much does a 2 liter grower cost to buy and what's the cost to fill for enjoy by? Seems to be a 4 bottle limit this go around, just wondering.

    Got my max allocation of 4 today, at Liberty Station. Nobody was there - about 12:05 PM. Cooler full of the Enjoy By. I think the within San Diego hype/buzz is now over.

    They have ALL been good. Got family in North and south East that grabbed bottles for me and traded for the others. ALL have been stellar.

    4 bottle limit even at Escondido. Looks like they limit the batches that are not on the California distribution list.

    The hype is appropriate with this beer. It's pretty damn perfect for a 9% DIPA, pretty dry but not too much, great hop profile with proper mix of dank and tropical, no booze, drinks like a 6.5% beer, what else would you want?

    IMO all the Enjoy By's are completely unique. I would say as good as Ruin 10 was the EB are more so.

    Just had it on tap, the best batch since 04.20, IMHO. Even the Stone store employees were extra-impressed.

    I don't have a long memory or keep notes, but I tried one last night and thought it tasted better than the last batch. So many variables, though (like what else I've drank or what I'm eating at the time), so I can't say they were tasted in a controlled environment.

    I liked RuinTen but I enjoy the EnjoyBY myself more. To each their own.

    Both limited releases in bombers. DUH!

    Seriously, I agree. I've tried and love both of them and comparing them never even crossed my mind.
