Plenty of bars will have Roll in the Hay on tap this week. Some of the FUN beers have been excellent (BB Hellfighter, Fra-Gee-Lay), though I don't know what the big deal about this one is? Barn Burner is average at best. So many better saisons available. Putting an average beer in some barrels does not make it better. I will probably find this on tap somewhere, and that will be it.

Didn't splurge like I usually do, the verdict is out whether this one is a huge hit. I will wait while people open up their bottlers first. hehe

Someone bring one to the Nobi share!

It's good. I wasn't a big barnburner fan but the barrel aging has softened it a bit. Very creamy. Didn't pick up a huge barrel presence. I'm a fan!

Disappointed with this one, esp with the $15 price tag. Had it fresh from the witch's tit and it wasn't all that. No barrel taste other than the butter from the chard barrels. And it was on the sweet side. Didn't have that bite that Barn Burner did. Glad I only got two bottles. Just share them with friends.

I picked up 2 at 5:30 but I could not see how many more they had. I assume it would be all gone by the time I made it after work but they pulled two for me from behind the counter. Did not think to ask how many more they had..

LOL. You're not supposed to be proud of your name being turned into a verb. You're supposed to hang your head in shame and never post again, like Azzy did.

Wine barrel aged beers don't do much for me anymore. That BB2 seriously ruined them for me.

Man, I'm drooling over here... I haven't had a "sweet, buttery, creamy" beer since Fresh DR12 - Fuck I want some bad now.

Just had one of my 2. I think it was good. Mellowed the barn burner out and I got a bit of the Chard barrel out of it here and there. Its no BBH and I agree that I compare all wine barrel aging to BB2 now cause I love it, but I will probably try to get 2 more tomorrow because I did enjoy it and Im curious how it will develop over periods of time. I feel like it could get better with some age.

Got to do my first brewery tour today at Karbach. Was able to try Rodeo Clown, El Hopadillo Negro, and my favorite, Hop Delusion. I had a great time with the misses. I hope the Saint Arnold tour tomorrow to live up to my expectations.

You absolutely cannot beat Stone for the price. $7-$8 for *bombers* of some of the top IPAs (Enjoy By and--for my money--RuinTen) and Stouts around? Big production has its benefits.

(Another great deal is Rodenbach. Maaaaaan. That's what I get when RU-55 ain't around!)

I take it you've never seen the price for a barrel-aged Stone release? LOL. Makes Karbach look cheap!
