    After having MC I'm having strange thoughts on how JD barrels and hot peppers will mix. Is this a base beer barreled or a completely different brew?

    I liked MC but could never drink a whole glass.

    i've come to realize midwest shelf whale/insta whale syndrome is actually BA stout with a bunch of shit added to it syndrome. raspberry eisbock, a very highly anticipated release from a very highly regarded midwest brewery trades reasonably. the newest bourbon maple coffee cinnamon vanilla chocolate pepper abomination from anywhere in the country however is unattainable. the locals will tell you that they actually ARE a REALLY GREAT PEDIGREED BREWERY YOU GUYS JUST DON'T KNOW IT YET but as was the case with perennial, toppling goliath, and now westbrook, no one gave a shit until they released some stout with 50 additives. i guess that's what we californians need to start doing. if alesmith puts vanilla and cacoa nibs in their next speedway maybe we'll be allowed to ask for mimosa for it.

    it's beers like these that make me understand the people who only post on here to complain about how nobody drinks lager and mock "big" beers.

    Best way to restore the value of limited AleSmith releases? Drink them. They're effing delicious. More often than not, they're a hell of a lot better than the instawaelz they get carelessly traded away for.

    I know someone who got a case of Mexican Cake off the shelf a few days ago.

    All the homerism in this thread is actually kind of unreal. It's just beer. This is like children with Pokemon cards lol.
