Favorite Hop...

    What is your favorite hop and maybe your favorite beer with that hop?

    It seems a lot of what I have had lately has simcoe in Columbus IPA and Commodore Perry IPA.

    I like the Pacific Northwest hops such as Cascade, Chinook, Simcoe.

    Mosaic so far. But I've heard tales of galaxy and welcome the chance to try it!

    Simcoe, Chinook, Citra, Magnum, Columbus, Warrior, Centennial.....I can't pick just one.

    Mosaic and Zythos are my favorites as of late. Great for dry hopping.

    Simcoe - Jai Alai, Hopslam, Pliny
    Citra - Tocobaga with its exclusive citra dry hop. I haven't had enough big Citra beers, but I definitely need to try more

    Lots of crazy ones that are great in an American IPA. I really like Centennial Amarillo or Simcoe in an IPA, but when I consider my favorite hop I can't just look at IPAs, so I'd have to say
    Hallertauer Hersbrucker.
    Great in so many styles.

    Simcoe definitely, as well as Citra, Cacade, Columbus and my newest favorite Galaxy. Two great examples IMO are Anchorage Galaxy White IPA and Clown Shoes Galactica

    Well saranac gets beat up for being . . . well not that good, but they make a wild hop pils with belma hops that I really liked. =) Dogfish head has a brewpub exclusive in their belma pale ale (wish I could try it)

    I am greatly drawn to galaxy hops, which are excellently showcased in Schlafly Tasmanian IPA.
