Well it happened again. I saw that Pepto-Bismol colored bottle and then saw that it was the one I hadn't had yet. Curiosity once again turned out to be a dangerous thing. Yeah, I wasted some money, but what is worse is that I'm not sure that I was able to catch and reintegrate all the little bits of my soul that tried to escape as I drank this, so the added costs were much higher. I keep telling myself that I need to stay away from whatever Voodoo Abomination comes next, but I know I won't be able to. So, how do we stop Rogue from even making it?

P.S. Looking at the bottle as I drank it made me realize that I'd rather drink a bomber of Pepto-Bismol that either brew again.

If you're referring to the Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter, I didn't care for it either... but to call for a Brewery's head as though it's committed heinous crimes is downright asinine.

If you don't like it, don't buy it. It's really that simple.

You must not have actually drank it if you didn't think brewing it wasn't a heinous crime.

I still havent had a Rogue beer yet. Their goofy labels coupled with their high prices just arent very attractive.

If Rogue wants to brew a beer from bull's milk, that's their choice... And money.

I can only assume you either:

    1) Brewed this beer
    2) Drank it and it broke your joy center

I have had some Rogue that was pretty good.
Anything packaged in a pepto pink bottle you should be smart enough to stay away from.
Let alone one with pages of a book or any other stupid gimmicky thing they may try to get you buy their beer.

Seriously, I'm afraid that one day, I'm gonna get a case of the "tickers gonna tick, bro" syndrome and buy one of these pink monstrosities. I actively go out of my way to avoid 'em - and I'll buy anything.

Seriously there wouldn't be a brewery left, we'd all pile on & bury 'em all. I hate Great Lakes Christmas Ale, & it's popularity is lost on me but I'm not about to throw the baby out w/the bath water or in this case a bakers spice rack full of bottled bath water. Take a deep breath, maybe give Rogue the consumer stink foot on the local level & cuddle up w/an old stand by that'll never let you down. You know like the one that's as close to a 5 or 100 as you've gotten...damn pink bottles, but yet how fitting for a brewer named Rogue, hmmmmmm.

I'll always have a soft spot for Rogue since they were one of the many breweries that were instrumental in getting me into craft beer.. I owe alot to Dead Guy Ale.. and I still don't know what I'd do without Hazelnut Brown Nectar which is one of the best beers ever crafted, imo..

    I blame you.

Someone said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

I remember getting into craft beer around 2004 and Rogue beers seemed like the best things ever and five dollars for a bomber was so expensive that it made you cringe. That's where I keep Rogue, deep in my past, where they cannot harm anyone.

So this is obviously a recurring theme in your life...
Maybe some sort of support group might be able to help you.. Pink Pepto Drinkers Anonymous or something.

I've never tried any of Rogues pink offerings but their Chocolate Stout isn't half bad.

Yeah I tried Double Chocolate Stout a month or so ago and it was really tasty. Plus I'd be lying if I said that the opaque red bottle didn't catch my eye while browsing.
