He speaks the truth. Seen his collection on Instagram and have a few friends that have dealt with him.

What would you trade for some bottles?

I got 2 of the original release last year, pretty insane fresh, but good, just really boozy. Last years was like 17.4%, looks like this year is tamed down a tiny bit. I'm trading the other bottle of the original release that I have, but I'll absolutely be looking for the fresh bottles when the hit the shelves in WA.

    When is the next release?

Edit: Rather when is the '13 release?

The release went smoothly today. I showed up at about 3:15pm and got a few beers from their release party tap list (Lilikoi Kepolo and Rum-Aged Czar). It was busy but not as busy as I had anticipated. They started selling UJ a little after 5pm and the line went pretty quickly. I think I was probably 50 back in the cash only line and was out by 5:15-5:30pm. Avery does a good job with their releases and I had a fun, pain-free time. Cheers!

I would think twice about that much for WINE.

I'd buy as much Uncle Jacob as I could afford at that price.

Snagged two bottles on my random weekend trip to San Diego this weekend. What a nice surprise!

Total Wine and More in Tustin had about 8 left when I went today. 1 bottle limit. $9.99. They are located in their walk in fridge.

Yet another stab in the heart for us CO BAs. First this hits shelves in CA first and now it's $10 per bottle. Bottles were $12 at the release. What's next...Avery announcing that the entire allocation is going to CA?

I know, we have it so hard in CO, and that extra 2 bucks at an awesome release party that goes straight to the brewery is horrible.
