West Ashley was $15 for however many batches they bottled with the 16e labels. The most recent batch with the new label was $18.

Are these bottles available from the tap room? Gonna be in Santa Cruz for a bit this week/weekend and would love to swing by and grab some stuff to take home...if not the tap room, where can I find them?

When they have bottles available for take-away, you can get them in the tap room. As of Sunday, all they had available in bottle format was Puckered Chavez (highly recommended) but for on-site consumption only. This may change come Thursday, but we'll all have to wait and see.

I'm not sure if bottles are distributed anymore. I don't think so now.

Meaning they may have other bottles available? Do they ever allow bottles to leave the premises or can you only ever have their beer onsite?

I know it wasn't, I just didn't know they were distributing. Last I had heard, was that pretty soon they will start distributing. I guess that doesn't leave out the fact that they probably did before..

Yes they allow them to leave, but seems to me, only on that release weekend. After that, they will only have a few cases left and they save them for on-sight only. SARA is also only open thurs-sunday

Sorry I wasn't clear. Yes, meaning newly bottled beers.

Monterey nailed it with the above post. Sante is open Thurs - Sun. Generally they will announce on FB a couple hours before they open what is available in the tap room for that day/weekend (on draft, for growler fill, and in bottles, if applicable). When they do bottle a particular type of beer, it starts off as being available for either take-away (with bottle limits), or you can drink it on-site. Then when their supply becomes dangerously low, they will stop take-away sales and make it on-site only. These days, take-away sales sometimes don't even last until the end of the weekend now (meaning it stops only 2-4 days after the announcement).

The 3rd batch of West Ashley sold out so fast I didn't even get any. Sadface.

Yes, but usually only one beer is available for growler fills. Check their Facebook on day of to see which beer it is.

Also, I believe they are out of growlers at the moment. But they will fill other breweries growlers, so you can bring your own.
