    Starting this now as I need to ask for time off from work to attend (likely).

    Does anyone know the date or accurately speculate the date?

    Have never bothered to attend but this year we are going after having a great time at Dark Lord Day. Have alot to share as well!!!!

    I googled the date and found Oct. 26 (Saturday) to have been mentioned in a tweet from Surly Brewing to someone who asked via direct tweet. Now, the official date has not been announced as you probably are aware but if last years' third weekend in October reigns true, then you could assume DDay will in fact be Saturday, October 26.

    I've been volunteering at the event since 08, I might actually do the whole camp out experience the day of this year instead!

    It is usually the last Saturday in Oct. Which would be the 26th, I hope that is it, I already have the 25th scheduled off of work.

    Surly officially put both dates on the website. October 26th or Darkness Day and September 21st for Surlyfest.

    Hope I can make it this year, was a blast last year. I may just swing by at night for bottle sharing if I'm in town. Got a lot going on and possibly with a big work trip planned spanning 3-4 weeks during this time period.
