Searched a few of these questions and nothing came up, so here it goes, thanks for any advice in advance.

Was looking at seekabrew, which I know can be outdated and wacky so help me out if I'm off, and was getting a little excited for the craft beer part of my trip. 1) Anything real good at Joseph James right now (assuming Citra Rye is on tap)? 2) Where can I get some Prairie? 3) Anywhere to get Brau Brothers (only super interested in their Rye Wyne, are they tap only?)? 4) Anyone wanna grab a beer and shoot the shit? 5) Anywhere to get Black Diamond big bottles or any of their beers on tap? 6) Anywhere to get good Flying Fish (tap only?)? 7) Anything at Tenaya Creek worth making the trip for? 8) Any good Speakeasy around? 9) Anything real good at Big Dog, drank there and Gordon's my last brief visit and had a great time (the owner grew up in the town next to my hometown, hell yeah for the good things from WI (they do exist)!) 10) Missing anything beer wise? Gonna be there late tomorrow night until Sunday night, really appreciate any help.
    Cheers!

I will answer what I can to the best of my own knowledge...

    1. You can't drink at Joseph James, they are production only. Khourys currently has Rye'd Dirty http://www.khourysfinewine.com/Sip_with_us.html amongst other things.
    2. Khourys & Total
    3. Not to my knowledge
    4. Khourys is probably your best bet, I know they have a food truck there tomorrow (Friday) night, and people will be there playing corn hole and drinking. I will probably be there around 1ish tomorrow to grab a beer and some lunch near by.
    5. Not my knowledge
    6. Not on draft to my knowledge, only place to pick up bottles that I am aware of is Total Wine
    7. Always fun to check out, depends on your time
    8. You can find them around town (Khourys and Total again), depends on which you are looking for
    9. El Perro is on at Khourys. War Dog and Peace Love and Hoppiness are on at the draft house and well worth a trip on their own.
    10. The best bet to find some rarer bottles are often Lees Liquor. I don't mention them otherwise because the beers that they have tend to sit for a really long time. Sometimes you can find some gems there though, just don't buy anything with a limited shelf life.

    ^He was pretty thorough.
At Big Dog's (Draft House in NW, not Cafe in midtown) they have a Hickory-smoked variant of their nitro Black Lab Stout, as well Dirty Dog IPA on Nitro. They're on their last keg or two of the Peace, Love, & Hoppiness Jeremy mentioned; a Citra&Mosaic pale ale that they're likely bringing on year-round b/c it turned out so well. Happy hunting

Awesome, thanks so much guys, that was exactly what I was hoping for, you guys rock with your timely responses and whatnot. Not sure if they're letting me have my craft day (I'm less into gambling than the rest) tomorrow or Saturday, but I'll post when I go somewhere in hopes of meeting one of yall. Cheers!

Tried, gave it my best pitch, but they just weren't havin it. People comin in today, people we gotta meet up with later, yadda yadda, if only all my friends were extreme craft lovers... Hope it's a great time, will definitely be there tomorrow, I'll post what time when I know.

Made it to Khoury's just before closing yesterday and loaded up, unfortunate I couldn't meet anyone, but I have to give a shout out to your beer scene. From the Joseph James growler of Rye'd Dirty I downed (with minimal sharing ) I'd believe anything people say about them, love rye beers and that was up there with the best I've had. Stayed at 4 Queens which has Chicago Brewing inside, wasn't expecting much, but I ended up really enjoying their brown, IPA, hefe and blueberry vanilla wheat, usually don't like IPAs, but it was my favorite, followed by the blueberry, didn't drink much else while I was there. That along with my previous experience at Big Dog and I'm convinced anywhere downtown or on the strip I don't have to worry about finding delicious beer! Can't wait to come back (it is Vegas after all), saw a new brewery downtown was opening (by where they're doing construction for the zip line), forget the name though.

Glad you had a good experience. Our city has so much to offer and good beer just makes it that much easier to enjoy. Joseph James once they finish their expansion is going to be putting out some great stuff! That brewery opening up downtown is Banger Brewing and they should be opening in the fall I believe. The beers I've had from them aren't my thing but they have an awesome location.

Marky, I just want to verify, did you get a growler of the Joseph James filled AT Khoury's? Just curious b/c I'm headed to Vegas for a bachelor party and just learned about Joseph James... wanted to give them a try. As many times as I've been to LV, I've never seeked out to have a growler filled there. If it were at Khoury's, do they fill ANY growler (even if say from Ballast Point or Green Flash?), or do they require a blank one? (Not super familiar with NV's growler policies)
    Thanks

Khourys should be able to fill any standard size growler you bring in, and also sell their own growlers in the store. The current Joseph James beer on draft there is JJ Ryed N Dirty. If you're in town on Friday, you'll probably catch a lot of us there.

Yup, was at Khoury's, pretty awesome liquor laws in Nevada, stores can fill growlers, passengers in cars can drink (which makes sense to me, not like I'm gonna be throwing my Bud light can at the driver JUST because he made a wrong turn on the way to my sister's house). Was only $10 too for 64oz of JJ's, I'd imagine you can use any growler (NV is cool with that), not sure on the store's policy though, only $6 if I remember right for their branded growler.

Awesome, thanks guys. Will be NEXT friday... probably gonna get in around noon (always stop by Grimaldi's for a pizza and a boston lager to start things off), then may try and head up to get a couple growlers after.
