Early returns are coming in on the AB version. In an upset, the scores are near-perfect and the language in the reviews is overly effusive.

 

I think gots have made it so much worse.

 

Anyone remember what Apply Brandy Barrel Aged Stout Westbrook was pouring at CBC this year? Because that was fantastic and one of my favorites of the event. The sour quad or whatever it was they had was great too.

Notwithstanding the idiosyncrasies of the OP, the guy gets mocked for trying to land a BVDL. Contrast with:

OP, who was willing to add, looking for the set that was mocked above, plus one kind of hard to get brew (brandy Huna, assuming) and two not that hard brews (non-BA MC and Huna).

Not to mention, one poster then wants another BADL added, so even assuming that the MC set is on par with BVDL (ok...), then another BADL is wanted for MC, Huna, and Brandy Huna.

 

How many bottles of BADL were sold?

Look not saying the beer is bad but seriously look at those reviews one from Florida and he probably is trading some. Very rarely is a beer practically a 5 and when every local rates it that way it is obvious homerism. Last beer I rated so high was West Ashley on the other side of the country, I want that beer bad again.
