    Hey folks,
    A small discussion ensued at a get together I attended yesterday evening. CCK came up, and what it would take to pull a bottle of the latest release. Two people at the get together believed that 12x of HF CD6 would get it done. Thoughts?

    Helpful. It was a purely hypothetical question. Ya know, for the purpose of discussion. That's what happens when people get together who have a common hobby. Cheers!

    It's really hard to give a definitive answer. CCK could fetch 3-5 "big time" bottles. I just think the person willing to park with the CCK would rather that than 12 of the same (limited, delicious, etc) beer. Maybe to further trade up? And I did not see the case of BBB9K post, so not sure!

    Yeah but no one can possibly know unless someone just posts the offer.

    I personally doubt it, because trading CCK for that kind of quantity would be kinda silly.

    I unfortunately do not have 12 CD6s, so won't be able to. Just thought it would be interesting to get some insight to further our discussion. But ya, your rationale is kinda along the lines of what I was thinking.

    If you somehow found someone with little access to HF who somehow has had CD6 and decided it's basically their favorite beer, and they had a CCK and they don't like it much, maybe this gets done. But that seems real unlikely.

    There is no one right answer as to what it'd take. Honestly, while I'm sure CCK is a great beer, ask yourself if it is worth giving up 5-6 equally as good, maybe even better, beers while going way over $4$. IMO, not even worth considering.

    I'm not sure why the geeks have their panties twisted over this one. Cable Car is easily one of the most over-rated AWA's, and that is saying something. It's gonna take some gooood cherries to make that beer worth the asking price.

    You could give up much lesser beers than CCK and get CD6, hence why it will probably never get completed.

    My main thought is I don't think I would try to ship a CCK across the Canadian border with the recent problems.

    If I knew how a search might be attempted I would do it, but I am not good at it. They were discussed in this forum though, perhaps someone else can give more info for a search.
