San Diego Beercation

    So I only live about an hour and a half from downtown SD, but a few of us are headed down in a few weeks for a game and want to get as much Beercation time in as possible.

    We are staying in downtown SD and wanted to see if any locals could help me out with good places for beer drinking at without having to leave the downtown/Gaslamp area....

    walk around, then walk in if it looks good?.....................neighborhood is a must.

    Neighborhood would be one of the better ones in dt/gaslamp. I always feel like that's a really touristy area of SD, so not as much great beer as some other parts of the city. If you decide to get out of that part of town, hit up O'brien's, Hamilton Tavern, Tiger! Tiger!, and many more.

    go to downtown johnny browns for the pints and the shuffleboard table. it'll probably be dead there.
