I want to get a couple of these and do a side by side with bramble. What fetches these? I know it's brewed annually in fall. Is it easier to get then when just released or now.

Would cherry rye score two of these if I made up fir $4$?

Yea that's it. Spell check fixed it and I was driving while posting. Maybe an admin can change the name to lindley as I didn't see the mistake. That's the beer I am talking about.

It would have to be 1:1 for me to part with one of mine.

Thanks for the advice. I didn't know it traded that high. Does this see distro or is it brewery only release?

Not super easy at all, but not impossible. Pull over, make all the posts and texts you need to make, kill a pint of Wild Turkey and continue driving and I'll consider sending you one.
Nah. Not really. It's a bit easier than Bramble but significantly tastier. Good luck!

It sees some distribution. I would say that Cherry Rye trades higher than Lindley, but it would take a very certain type of trader to go 2:1 on it. I'd say Cherry Rye is maybe 1.5 Lindley Park units.

Also, Lindley is much better than Bramble in my opinion, but we all know taste doesn't mean a damn thing when it comes to trading :sunglasses:

I'm assuming he's talking about people who drive automatics.

I've traded BCBCS for Lindley, so I wouldn't be shocked if Cherry Rye+ got 2 bottles, but there's only one way to find out.

Skip it and trade for Event Horizon

Your trade thread will get it done easily, I think.

Not impossible to come by, but pretty limited. Well, the first batch was a lot tougher than the second. The thing is that, though it sees distribution, only a couple of stores in the state got a significant quantity (Bestway in Greensboro, Peabody's in Boone, maybe a couple more). Most spots just got a fair amount less.

Peabodys in Boone might have a stray bottle, no trading required. Easy and legal, even if it's for a few bucks more.

I recently got 2 of them for a BCBCS and a Sucaba. Great beer and well worth seeking out. Good luck!

I was down there last year for the release. Actually it wasn't much of a release, just went there, ate dinner and ordered a case. Easy peasy. Muled some for some friends back home then put the rest in the cellar to see how it ages. They were good fresh, not better than bramble by any means. But had my last bottle at a tasting and it was mediocre at best. I think we drain poured half the bottle. This beer doesn't age well at all. I would def wait for new batch. And if you do trade I think 1 cherry rye+ locals for two bottles in lindley is fair.

Peabodys is out as is any retailer, trade only, this is a heavily fruited brew, IMO better fresh. Even fresh it has a ton of fruit.

Completely disagree. Had a bottle a few weeks ago that was terrific. Raspberries are still very prevalent. Also had an '11 a couple months back that was drinking great as well. This beer ages fine, and it is better than Bramble hands down. I can understand not liking fruited stouts, but drain pouring Lindley is ridiculous,
