I'm really going to enjoy it after carrying all of these boxes out to the car, into the house and down to the basement. It's 93 degrees here today and I' sure I'll build up a powerful thirst with all that work.

Nope -- that was my Figaro. Sorry. I completely forgot when I ordered it that they would do that. Fascists.

Note to self, when you sneak out of work early to go to a beer release take your fucking wallet out of your desk DUMBASS!!!! Fortunately for my target, I was able to make the 30 minute drive back to work and return to JA in time to still get some. Damn I almost cluster fucked this all by myself

Went down to the office and had a nice delivery from PattyMelt with a heartfelt note. Decided not to make everybody wait, so, pictures follow below.

McDermott was not too pleased that I used his ottoman for the pictures...

I was invaded by Shorts, Dark Horse, and other delicious beers

Short's Dan's Pink Skirt (looking forward to the hop focus)
Short's Huma Lupa Licious (Sounds like a nicely balanced IPA)
Short's Bourbon Barrel Sustenance Black Beer ("Bourbon Barrel Soaked"...)
Short's Spruce Pilsner (Was a big Northwoods fan back in the day, this sounds like a vast improvement)
Ithaca Flower Power (Heard great things about this)
Founder's Devil Dancer (Drinking one while I write this, glad I've got another)

    2nd Row:

Odd Slide Ales Citra Pale Ale (Fuity Pale, yep)
Right Brain Dead Kettle (Saw some haze when I put this in the fridge, looks good)
New Holland Night Tripper (I'm sucker for stouts)
Dark Horse Militiagan ("Potable Oat Wine," I'm listening)
Dark Horse Reserve Special Black Ale (Complex maltiness, sounds good)
Kunhenn Bourbon Barell 4th Dementia (Sooooooo good)

Thank you to PattyMelt for these delicious beers. Good luck to everyone else.

Okay everyone, you might as well grab a beer and settle in, this is going to be a long one.
First off, here is what 68 pounds of beer looks like before it's opened. Truly like Christmas in July!!
First, we'll start with a little appetizer, courtesy of a trade with Kwaide...
    2012 Cuvee Freddy
New Glarus Apple Ale--never had anything from them, sounds like the perfect thing for 90 plus days.
2 x Thirsty Dog Siberian Night--can't wait for cooler weather
    Real Ale 4 squared
    Austin Beerworks Fire Eagle
HT---always welcome in my house, my fridge and my belly!
Full Sail Imperial Stout---again, come on cooler weather
    Deschutes Black Butte Porter--love this

Moving on to our main course, out first entrée comes from Pimpinmidget via a 6 bottle shipper, all big boys and part 2 of his multi part BIF shipment. More claims to be coming next week. Really? Stop it!!
    [IMG]People BBL Aged Porter
Olde Hickory Redeemer Imp IPA--sounds yummy
French Broad Rye Hopper Ale--never made it to French Broad when I was in Asheville last year, happy to get to try this
    Foothills Hundred Foot Centennial Ale
Olde Hickory Daniel Boone--aged in oak bourbon barrels? OK by me
Highland Imperial Kashmir IPA---I already had some Highland from the last box, this sounds good, too.

Moving on to the 2nd part of our main course, provided in 3 boxes by Roon.
Indeed Shenanigans Summer Ale and Day Tripper IPA--never heard of them, always happy to try something new
Dry Dock Bligh's Barleywine---it spent 7 months in whiskey barrels, it's life expectancy is much shorter than that in my cellar
Most of a growler of TG PseudoSue---awesome!!
Surley SevIIn--coming from Roon, I knew there would be Surley!! Excited to try this one!
Surley Bender and 2 x Coffee Bender--the more Surley the better if you ask me
2 x Lift Bridge Farm Girl Saison---this will be good one of these summer nights

    and for dessert...
[IMG]even though it's barely chilled, a glass of PseudoSue while I've been typing all of this. Even warm and abused across half the country by FedEx, this is still fantastic. And already empty.

Here's a family photo of everybody including the 5 bottles one of the guys in the warehouse gave me today because he didn't care for them.
All total, 522 ounces of deliciousness came my way today!!
    Thanks to everyone.
The growler should have cooled off a little by now, so I've got to go!!

I kind of lost track in all of the excitement, but there were 6 or 7 wants that were taken care of in the above haul.

So after all of the wonderful beers you listed, your coordinated senders forgot one glaring thing which I did not see pictured, or mentioned, an IOU for a new porch!
