So today is Saturday and many of us will be making a trip to the grocery or beer store (or both). So what are some beers available in your area that are on your shopping list?

    Mine are

    Founders Rübæus
    Fat Heads Head Hunter
    Anchor California Lager
    Rodenbach Vintage 2010

    Cheers!

I never have a list, I walk around like a lost puppy dog for about a half hour trying to decide what to get. Usually end up with something new I've never had.

I did that for a long time, but usually came home with an overly expensive beer haul. Now I try to limit myself to one reliable 4 pack or six pack and a couple other new beers.

The only time I go to a liquor store with a specific beer in mind is for a special release, like Black Butte XXV yesterday. Otherwise, I go either completely open or with a few styles in mind. The obviously downfall is I spend more time and money each visit than I should.

I've got nothing to do in Middlebury, VT, so I usually go to the beer store every few days to look for something new. I'm holding out for w00t stout, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Sigh...so many great beers in VT that are just out reach.

Seeing as I'm on vacation in Cape Cod, MA from Florida.. The possibilities are endless.. However I've developed a sweet spot for Hoponius Union from Jack's Abby and Flower Child IPA from CBC :grinning:

Usually, I don't have a list, so I just look around and pick up either surprises, beers that are very well received, something new and interesting, or occasionally an old favorite. Today, I visited couple of stores I'd not been to before, and the only things on my list were Big Bad Baptist, which I saw on their web site, and possibly W00tstout. They had both, so I grabbed a BBB, but I found some other stuff that I wanted more than the Stone, like Beer Geek Breakfast, so I prioritized my purchases. Beer teaches you many things, like math and economics.

I go searching for what's been released, and also see new things I want to try. Old ones I want to revisit. And ones I'm just plain curious about. Leave having bought way more than what I should have.

I'm so sorry- that's Carton, not Kane. Kane is still wonderful. Had Port Omna on tap. Yum.
