someone yesterday was telling me they recently got hit in a sting serving someone underage and were forced to shut down production for a month. i googled it and saw they did get fined but am pretty sure they didn't have to stop production. anyone know anything more about this or have a helpful link? sounds like the person didn't know what they were talking about because ive never heard of that as punishment for breaking that law. at least not for a month!
Hangar 24 has an awful taproom. I hope they get fined until they hire decent people and not girls the hiring manager thinks are hot/cute.
All brewery's should and need to card everyone and anybody who looks 50 or below. But you'll always have some dumb blonde or asshole who does not care.
Under a law passed by the state legislature in 1995, licensees face increased penalties for sales to minors. A first time sale may result in a fine or license suspension. A second sale to a minor within a three year period is an automatic license suspension. A third sale to a minor within a three year period may result in license revocation.
ive been told if we got hit and shut down at my brewery, production would be shut down for however long as well not just serving alcohol. idk i did some googling and read a bunch of stuff but haven't found exactly what im looking for im just taking this as the guy was spreading misinformation and they were fined only and have gone about business as usual!
We told you already, but you simply responded with that's not what you wanted despite being the entire story. The place didn't shut down. In fact, they were pitting cherries for a new brew like that very week.
Does the specific location you work at brew only for onsite, or does it double as a production brewery? I think that might make a difference.
