So I'm running out of room with my cellar'd beers and I don't have a basement so I can't just add more shelving to solve the problem. What have you guys done in my situation? I was thinking a shelving unit that had doors on it so I could keep the light away. I appreciate any suggestions and specifics are a plus.

Maybe invite some friends over for a cellar thinning tasting?

    1) Drink the beer.
    2) Get more storage.

I think that covers it. In terms of specifics, I think you know your situation better than any of us so I'm not sure we can help much.

Consider keeping your beer in cases. You can always stack the cases if you are worried about floor space. You won't need to spend any money on additional shelving.

I vote we rename this thread "Nanana boo boo, my cellar is bigger than yours"

If he's being a braggart, we could retort with Nana boo boo, I have a basement, or Nana booboo, my apartment is bigger than yours!

    Fridge.

Replace fresh and perishable food items with canned, dry, and frozen goods until you can drink your cellar back down to safe levels.

Not bragging at all. Actually my cellar storage is pretty small, using space under my counter tops in the kitchen. Just wanted to see how you guys store. Especially without a basement.

Your problem just doubled because you don't even have a cellar.

I use an 11 cubic foot chest freezer unit with a temp controller. Once that filled up, I started drinking a few, trading a few, and gave away quite a bit/took a lot to bottle shares.

Start storing cases in the trunk of your car.

Under the counter in your kitchen is not a cellar. It's a warm spot you put beer until it goes bad or you drink it, whichever is first.
