Here's how I would do it (at my local, of course):

    Tilquin Oude Gueuze 375ml $8.99
Moa Pinot Noir Barrel Imperial Stout 375ml $4.49
    DFH Festina Peche 12oz $1.79
NEBCo Sea Hag 12oz can $1.99

Remainder spent on tax/deposit. Might even get change back.

I would take the train to Cambridge brewing company, drink two jack straws, go home, and save my last $2 until I retire.

$20 shopping spree I'd go for a Cascade or an Allagash Interlude, the second shopping spree would start soon after tho, might even be a third shopping spree.

I could head down to Bell's and drink two Wild Ones and a Two Hearted or just pick up a couple sixers of Two Hearted.

In all seriousness; a six pack of Two-Hearted and a Rodenbach Grand Cru would do me just fine.

If I spend less than $40 on a beer run, it's a good day. But on a serious note, for $20 I'd go with :

Bomber of Double Bastard ($8), 2 Heady Toppers ($7), Bomber of Sam Adams Double Bock ($5).

I'd grab a bottle of Jack's Abby - 2nd Anniversary Lager ($4.50), a Speedway Stout or Yeti ($12), and a local bomber from the likes of Big Elm, Barrington Brewery, BBC, etc.

Spree? I consider it a success if I can walk out of the beer store with no more than double that amount.

I'd use it to buy a Ginsu knife on TV.

I'd then use it to shank someone rich for their wallet.

I'd then use their ill gotten CC to buy $2000 worth of Cantiloons on one of those overseas sites.

I'd then get really drunk and heartburned when I drank the Cantiloons without sharing.

Is that what you'd call getting creative?
