$20 Beer Shopping Spree

For $20, I could get a 6 pack of Founders Dirty Bastard, and a 4 pack of Old Rasputin...and that would be a good night.

 

I wanna know where the hell you guys are paying 5-6 dollars for some of these bombers

 

With a $20 burning a hole in my pocket I would have to go with a six pack of Two Hearted and a LA Serpents Stout.

I would give the $20 to my home brewing buddy. Then everyday I would go over to his house and drink his beer and remind him of said $20.

 

I cannot buy a BFM 15th Anniversary or a Saint bon-chien 750 for $20...

 

I can never really say. Tends to depend on what's fresh at the store.

 

Go to Total Wine and see what on sale. Last Week they had 4 packs of Odell Lugene Chocolate Milk stout for 5$. got 2 of them

 

1 bottle of something evil twin and a nosh for the walk home cause no bus fare.

If you're paying $7 for 2 Heady Toppers in NY, either you're really lucky or not counting the gas to drive to the brewery [even if you are directly across the border].

 

You're right, I'm not counting the ferry trip.

Sounds like you're taking the ferry across Champlain and buying in Burlington. The price is $3 a can retail at the brewery so I'm wondering what the price the store pays if they sell for $3.50. Any idea?

Not sure. I was pleasantly suprised though, to only pay just $3.50/can when I knew it was $3 at the brewery.
