    A new employee brought me 4 packs of Furious, Bender and Overrated, but he won't tell me how much it cost. I don't let my employees give me beer, I insist on paying them for the local beers they bring me but I have no idea how much to give him. All the threads I read when I searched complain about how expensive Surly beer is but I haven't found any actual prices.
    Thanks

    All three of these run $8-$11 a four pack depending on where they were purchased.

    Furious = 10 - 11 plus tax
    Bender = 8 - 9 plus tax
    Overated = 8 - 9 plus tax
    ball park ranges. Hope that helps.

    Those prices sound about right. Also, I am not really bent out of shape about the prices :astonished:

    Thanks guys. I keep hiring people from MN so I hope to be able to try the entire lineup soon.

    I would drink it more often if it wasn't for the price. I get to the beer fridge at my Muni and I say to myself "what's it going to be this time, a 4 pack of Furious or a 12er of Saga?" Saga wins most of the time. I drink more Surly in a bar then I do at home because most pints cost the same at the bar.

    Yeah I can see that. I just like to dry different stuff so I don't find myself buying it that often. But when I feel like drinking something familiar I don't balk at the 4-pack prices. Abrasive is a bit steep but damn is it delicious.

    Glad I'm a poor man as I'd rather drink Saga anyways. :sunglasses:

    My apologies to the OP for dragging this off topic yet again, but, I guess I need to try Saga again. Very mixed opinions about it. Personally, I didn't care for it too much and wouldn't even compare it to Furious. Guess I need to give it another run.

    It's all opinion, but, yeah, Saga is better. No knock on Fury.

    I like Furious way more than Saga. The first time I tried it I didn't even like it. It grew on me, but alas, if my local store is out of Furious I usually go for Day Tripper of Hop Dish. Also I didn't mean to offend anyone when using the term "poor man's etc", I just meant that imho Saga is inferior.

    Could not believe the good fortune, with a recent 2 week Surly blow-out on the pike between WI-MN. Half price Abrasive, Bender, Hell and the Saison [cannot remember the title but it was one of the best of that style that I've had] Scored a case [6-4pk's] for about $25. Now I do believe the product was somewhat shortdated , But I welcome that kind of deal again....soon!

    Where, for the love of god, did you find Abrasive!? And for $6 a four pack to boot. I'll drive there tomorrow.
